Western Sierra Medical Clinic provides comprehensive medical, dental and behavioral health care in Nevada, Placer, Sierra and Yuba counties. Western Sierra, the largest outpatient health provider in the community, has a direct health care connection to an estimated 20,000 residents — or about one of every five residents in the region.
It’s a big commitment and responsibility that we take very seriously.
Western Sierra is committed to building a better and healthier community, with a focus on treating the entire person. The clinic has a far-reaching goal of improving the health of its patients and the region, from developing a one-stop center for health services to focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of disease as well as disease prevention and healthy lifestyles.
Western Sierra offers a full range of health care services for newborns (and even soon-to-be born babies) to seniors. We have a first-rate team of providers, from primary care to specialists. And we’re always looking to expand and fulfill our never-ending mission of providing the best-possible care for the region.
We have expanded our Urgent Care services and recently added an obstetrician/gynecologist, and an in-house pharmacy. The center continues to develop new ways to improve the health of patients, from case managers who closely track patients to introducing telemedicine, which greatly expands the rural community’s access to specialists.
The health center treats all patients, regardless of their income or insurance coverage. Western Sierra accepts many private insurance coverage and government programs, including Medicare and Medi-Cal. In addition, Western Sierra also has approval by the Veterans Administration to treat veterans.
It’s all about making health care more accessible, affordable and convenient for you.
