Behavioral health services are critical to good health, from coping with depression, to navigating family issues.

Western Sierra Medical Clinic’s integrated behavioral health team are available to meet privately with patients at variable sites of service depending on available resources.

Our confidential counseling and therapy services include treatment for a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, adjusting to life stressors, family or parenting problems, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and substance use disorder. We also offer an educational series on variable topics such as mindfulness, coping skills, and overall health.

WSMC’s behavioral health team works closely with primary care providers, community partners for patients addressing substance use disorder, Hospitality House for people experiencing homelessness, FREED for people with disabilities, and Nevada, Sierra, and Placer County Behavioral Health departments for patients with chronic and severe needs.

Behavioral health conditions are serious and can be life-threatening for many patients. Western Sierra has built an integrated system of care, including medical providers and outside community organizations that meet a large majority of patients’ behavioral health needs. Our approach is flexible and welcoming so we can connect with people from all walks of life.
